Carmen Dominguez, MD

Dr. Carmen Dominguez is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist with over 28 years of experience helping patients manage pain and improve their quality of life. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to making care accessible and inclusive for a diverse patient population.

Dr. Dominguez earned her medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. She completed her internship at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University. She went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in pain management at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University.

Her fascination with the human body and its intricate systems inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. Today, she brings that same curiosity and dedication to every patient interaction. Dr. Dominguez believes in a collaborative approach to care – empowering patients to be active participants in their treatment by providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Dominguez enjoys exercising, reading, and volunteering at church.
