Dr. Thomas “Luke” Lucas, M.D., began his academic path at Mercer University, earning degrees in history and French, before obtaining his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his family medicine residency at AnMed Health Family Medicine in Anderson, South Carolina, where he achieved board certification. Dr. Lucas has a background as a United States Peace Corps volunteer and has contributed to the Anderson Free Clinic, emphasizing a holistic approach to care throughout all stages of life. He currently practices at Colonial Family Practice in Sumter and is affiliated with Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, offering both in-person and telehealth appointments. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lucas enjoys sports, outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with his family.
